Aether Observer
AETHER — Artificially Evolving Tales, Histories & Eras Recorder
A persistent world with a history that writes itself. Introduce events — or let the world invent its own — and each one is automatically woven into a growing daily record for you to read, building a real history that remembers everything that came before.
Give it a go — it's completely free while we're building this out.Watch a world unfold
These worlds run entirely on their own — no one adds events, the story keeps moving on its own every day. Read along, no sign-in needed.

A world can be anything — here are a few directions to spark ideas. Each one below uses a real visual theme available when you create a world, and links to a world-creation form already started for you — everything stays editable before you create it.
Children's stories
Warm, gentle tales for a young reader — friendly characters, small stakes, and a world that's always kind.
Start with this →Tabletop adventure
Quests, factions, and a party of recurring characters — fantasy adventure in the spirit of a tabletop campaign.
Start with this →World-building
Track civilizations, factions, and history at a larger scale — no single hero required, just the world itself.
Start with this →1. Create a world
Give it a name, pick a setting, time period, and genre, and decide how autonomous the world should be — a higher setting means the world does more on its own between your visits.
2. Introduce events
On a world's page, type anything that happens — big or small. Not sure what should happen? Click “Let the world decide what happens next” instead, as many times as you like. Every event becomes permanent history — nothing gets forgotten or overwritten.
3. Write records
Records don't write themselves — head to a world's Records tab and click “Write the next record” to have everything that's happened since the last one narrated as a continuing story.
4. Keep going
Introduce more events, write more records. The world remembers everything that came before, so each new event and record builds on real history — not a blank slate.
Good to know
- This is an early preview — expect rough edges.
- If a page seems stuck or a code doesn't work, the app may just be waking up after being idle — wait a few seconds and try again.
- Deleting a world (from its own Settings tab) is permanent — there's no undo.
